Yesterday was Daddy's birthday and we had a day! We're all sick, so it wasn't much of a day. We did go to Oma and Opa's for a birthday dinner. It was lots of fun. Aunt Diane drove in for it special! We are so glad to be with her again. Well, the ultimate gift has come his way!!! He leaves tomorrow am dark and early to go to the NFC Championship game. Lucky duck, well actually COLD DUCK!!! If you read at all, you know that Dad is a HUGE fan and when he got an opportunity, he JUMPED. Uncle Dave and he are making the trek up there tomorrow. After he gets there, they are driving up to the cabin North of Green Bay for some snowmobiling and fun. Sunday they are going to drive in early to the game and experience the whole deal to the max. He may turn into Putty and be a face painter, more on that later. The game is after dark and expected to be below 0 degrees with wind chill of at least -12. Good luck with all that Dad. Oh, BTW, he is still really sick, so he may come home with pneumonia. We hope not though! Anyway, he will be home late Monday night. I will really miss him, I am glad we got to spend his whole birthday together!
