Hard to do

This one is for the Cheeseheads!! I think it is tough for mom to post, but here I am in my Pac green creeper, with my Favre football, and Pac sox. I hear you people up North are excited about the season's start and the whole Marino record bla bla bla. If I could, I would go buy myself a Cowboys creeper for equal time. But since I can't, I will have to take solace in the fact that this green outfit will double for my Stars watching parties starting in a couple weeks. Anyway, mom thinks that I like this ball and after all is said and done, it matches Cheddar's collar...so it can't be all bad! PLUS, it is getting me ready for the big Green Bay vs. Dallas showdown in November. It may be a house divided.

It is also hard work to read my daisy duck book. I was taking a break. Being sick was hard work too...I stayed in my jammies most 0f the day. I am feeling much better but still not 100%. No fever sure helps and so now I am just trying to breathe better through my nose!
Not much else to tell, just wanted to put some pics up so you could see how big I am now!!
Have a great day.

Long Puny weekend

This weekend I caught my first cold!! IT WAS NO FUN. I was a really good boy and tolerated that dad gum aspirator for a couple days...but by day 3 I was so sick of it. I started to scream when I saw it and Mom and Dad started sneak attacking me. On top of that, those 2 kept taking pictures, like it is cute or something. So here I am with my snuggly bear Lauren McLaughlin gave me and just a plain one with a black background. Mom and Dad are desperately trying to figure out ways to get less expensive nice photos of me. Hopefully IF I am feeling better, later this week we can get some good ones. You can see here how glassy my eyes are and I was doing pretty good at this point. I am hoping to get some good rest today. I may get to go to the post office, I have to mail Gray and Casey their birthday presents, because mom flaked and got them too late. Maybe I can see my Daddy at City Hall and check out the new Library...he is going to pull a permit for some work he is doing on the house....You guys can pray for that one! He is VERY GOOD at doing stuff, but this patio cover is a HUGE undertaking...he's even asking for help. Have a great day and I will let you guys know as soon as I am feeling better. I think I am going to stay away from Gymboree for a bit this week. Mom thinks it is a germ breeding ground now...but I did need to start building up my own immune system. So I am sure I will be back soon.

3 months old

Here I am, growing up so fast and getting so strong! Yesterday was my 3 month birthday! It was a fun day. I got to go see Mrs. Post...she is soooo good to me. The Posts and Parker especially (who I think is really really pretty) have given me so many toys and books!!! They have saved mom and dad so much money. Mom and Dad should pay their house payment for all the stuff they have given me. I am very blessed by them. I can't wait to see them again soon and maybe I will actually be awake and they can play with me! That was the best part of my day. The worst part was mom and me had it out on the whole "bottle ordeal". I guess she won, because when she was at work last night Daddy stayed home with me and put me down to bed by himself and I took 3 oz from a bottle from him. It wasn't so bad at all. I should remember that in the future. I am glad that Daddy didn't have to see me pitch my fits, he would have been DONE with me and all my hollerin. Grandma came over to hang out with me and Dad too. So that was fun to get to see her. She is a fun little lady and talks a LOT to me, which I love. That is all we have today. Mom is going to try and load some pictures up to Snapfish so you guys can look at albums and print up any thing you want for pretty cheap. That is a goal of hers anyway...but those of you who know my mom know she rarely , if ever, reaches her goals!!!
Have a great day!

Opening weekend?

Well, this should really probably only mean something to my Uncle Rick and Opa...I am not sure if it was opening weekend but Dad's boss Wayne sure went. He doesn't miss a season of anything...so it must have been. Ched is a bird dog, but not a retriever...we just call this training toy her "Carrot". She does want to hunt dove awful bad. She is a good stalker. I got my cammo from the Opiolas, so I feel very ready for the upcoming seasons!! Pretty soon me and Ched will be ready to roll out in the brush looking for birds, but for now, we'll just practice with the carrot and hope Dad and Opa teache me good safety lessons!!
Have a good day.

It's been a while

Today was a long day! I went to Grapefest in Grapevine with Mom, Dad, and Mandy. We had lots of fun, it was pretty warm out though. I had enough of it all and kinda got real crabby. It was hot! I wanted out of that stroller. HOWEVER, today was my first day in a stroller not in my infant carrier. I looked like such a peanut in that "pre-jogger" stroller. Dad took out my infant seat attachment and put in the real seat that goes with it. I liked it a lot, but the headliner is polar fleece!! Which, while it is very cozy, it also is pretty hot. So, thankfully mom brought that hippie lovin sling with her. When I got crabby (basically I was too hot to snooze), she put me in my sling and carried me around like a baby chimp. I slept really well though. That was officially all the sleep I got during the day. We got home, I ate and have been asleep since. They woke me up for a bath, I ate some more, and back to bed for me! My pictures today are of me getting geared up for the festival in my big kid seat in the pre-jogger, me and Dad talking on the stairs before breakfast, and finally....It is the picture the meat guys at Whole Foods took of me and Dad and all my new friends. As you can tell, we garnished quite a bit of attention en masse!
Notice I am the only kid blinking! So I am hoping for a good night's rest. Aunt Sue is back visiting and we are excited. My cousin Karyn is supposed to be coming soon too! I can't wait to meet her and her family...I hear soooo much about how cool they all are...it is very exciting to look forward to!
Mom started tutoring again, so me and dad will get to hang out for a bit tomorrow while she meets one new student for the first session before a test. I bet we watch the Packers!
Go Pac!

This just in...

I HAVE ARMS!! AND...I CAN MAKE THEM MOVE!!! That is the news of the weekend. I spent a LOT of time just looking at my arms, bringing them to my mouth, pulling them out, and looking at them some more. Fascinating stuff those arms are. Also, my Opa is telling me good stories...he's full of them. The last picture shows how strong I am holding my head up.

So the weekend update....
I had a wonderful day Saturday with my Dad. We walked around the store and talked a lot. I loved the produce section of Whole Foods. Apparently we were a sight to see. All the folks in the store thought it was pretty cool to see 12 daddies and their kids wandering around. It felt sorta weird at first, but then we had a really good time. The meat packers took our picture for the store website...so we're sorta famous now.
After our big adventure, we went to Gymboree. It was a good time...even Dad thought it was pretty fun. I got pretty tired and hungry close to the end of class so I didn't really get to say goodbye to my new friends. I am going back tomorrow with mom and Oma.

I was a pretty good boy at the Griffins...I just showed everyone how I talk all the time even though it sounds like I am upset, I usually have my eyes closed and my whole fist in my mouth. I am really quite content. We had to leave a bit early because I needed to take my bath and go to bed, since I still didn't really nap too much that day. I made up for it on Sunday. We had a lazy day full of naps...Daddy had a late hockey game but get this...HE GOT A HAT TRICK!!! Sure wish I could have seen it.

Okay, it is time for me to take a nap, so I can play with dad when he gets home from work...I really love that guy!!!

Big weekend plans!

I have had an eventful week again. Top on the list is that I once again have decided I am not too terribly interested in taking a bottle. I like to scream bloody murder like someone is trying to maim me! It has sufficiently driven my dad nuts. Here he is trying to calm me down standing by the sink ( I like to hear running water) and wearing headphones to block out my screams!!! If you look close enough, you can see my meth eyes from crying so much.
Tomorrow is a big day. I get to go on and Adventure Day with my Daddy then I go to Gymboree for the first real time!! I will probably be completely exhausted by the end of the day, so hopefully I will sleep well and not be crabby at dinner Saturday! We are going to Aunt Jill and chef Uncle Bill's! I am excited to see them...its been a long time other than at church!
Aunt Marcy-here i am in my cool British jeans!! The are still a little big, but I feel very hep and Euro!! Thank you for them!! Have a good weekend and I will be back in touch with adventure updates...

Can't a brutha get a break?

This morning on our jog, mom had me very well sun protected...even wore my fishing hat because we went a bit later in the morning. Well guess what found me??? A MOSQUITO!!
Dad gum thing flew up my hat and bit me...I screamed. So of course, mom is freaked out because dad said there was West Nile in Frisco!! So she actually killed the booger and is saving it. For those hunters checking in...kill count today is 3!! 2 mosquitoes and a freaky wolf spider!!! Dove hunting is going on in a field close to the house, so we are all about keeping track of kills right now! Not much else to report...we'll keep you posted on the West Nile progression! :0)

No rest for the weary!

What was meant to be a very relaxing long weekend sure turned out to be short! Moving and going all weekend long sure made for a miserable day yesterday evening. I hit my breaking point of not enough naps. Seems like now all I want to do is be held and sleep in my sling. After mom puts me down, I am good for about 20 minutes is all. I am definitely trying to get the parentals to do it my way!!
When I go to my swing to rest, all I do is make faces...as seen here. I also have found great solace in my Tigger that mom's friend from college Deborah, Steve, and the girls Maddie and Jordan (who are soooo beautiful) gave me! I like to hug him and eat his paws and nose. You can see me holding him close while I yell at mom to put me in that sling!!
I still have my big, bright, blue eyes and am starting to drool like Cheddar. Hopefully today, I can get caught up on my rest and be the happy dude I was last time we chatted!!!
Have a good day!!

day of work and play!

Today started out early and we haven't stopped yet!
We went for a walk with my Grandma early this am in the cool weather. We mowed the lawn and went to the post office to mail a package to England. Afterwards, we went for a swim at our neighbor's house. Cheddar got to play with their dog, I got to live it up large in the shade and Ched also went for a dip in the pool. She takes a little bit of coaxing, but once she is in, we can't get her out!
Ched got a bath, then we did too. Now we are getting ready to try out new Saturday night church!!! Full day. I am tired, I hope I don't scream during church...we are hoping for a nap the whole time!
Happy Labor Day everyone!!!
